JOB SUMMARY :

We are looking for a Farm Lead to join MEDINE GROUP | Yemen.
The Farm Officer is responsible for assisting the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of farm operations in a
deer farming environment.


Duties & Responsibilities

Farm Management

  • Oversee Yemen’s farm operations, ensuring that feeding schedules, nutrition requirements, and health standards are maintained.
  • Monitor and manage maintenance of pastures, fencing and equipment.
  • Implement systems for tracking deer health, breeding, and overall population management.
  • Lead a team of farm employees.

Hunting and Wildlife Management

  • Assist during hunting seasons, ensuring that all protocols for safety, ethics, and legality are strictly followed.
  • Oversee hunting logistics, including scheduling, equipment preparation, and supervising hunting activities.
  • Work closely with the General Manager and clients to deliver a safe and satisfying hunting experience.
    Supervise transformation and processing of deer meat.

Sales Management

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to promote deer, hunting, and related farm products.
  • Monitor sales performance, prepare reports on results, and identify opportunities for business growth.

Administrative Duties

  • Monitor farm sales performance, compiling reports, and identifying opportunities to improve productivity and business growth within farm operations.
  • Monitor the herd and necessary admin follow up.
  • Conduct regular inspections to comply with safety and environmental regulations.


Leadership and Team Management

  • Supervise and monitor farm staff, providing guidance and support to maintain high performance standards.
  • Schedule and delegate tasks effectively, ensuring all farm activities are completed on time and meeting quality requirements.
  • Promote a positive work environment by encouraging teamwork, clear communication, and accountability among staff.

  • Any other cognate duties as may be necessary in the circumstances and/or required by the employer.


CANDIDATE’S PROFILE :

Qualifications Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years in a similar job position.
  • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Animal Science, Business Management, or related field.


Key competences (Knowledge, Skills, Attitudes, Behaviours):

  • Knowledge of animal husbandry, feedlot management, and hunting procedures.
  • Strong team management abilities, with experience in supervising and training staff.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to perform manual farm work and operate machinery as required
