Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain a competitor benchmarking file with:
- Updated prices
- Updated value proposition
- Main strengths and weaknesses
- Assist in yearly commercial and marketing plan, as well as budgeting
- Assist in planning events for Casela, including planning, communication, follow up with various internal and external suppliers
- Preparing Casela’s presence in trade fairs
- To be present along with the commercial team during trade fairs and other commercial events
- Assist in monthly content creation plan and validation
- To work with the marketing team to ensure satisfactory and timely community management on social media, as well as appropriate responses on all review websites
- Be able to do customer visits as need be – including but not limited to influencers, VIP customers and partners
- Perform market research, including secondary data research
- Send artwork briefs to creative and graphic team, and follow up
- Assist in creating survey for customers and roll out the survey.
- To prepare performance reports as needed extracted from systems or prepared manually.
- Get contracts approved by legal team and send for amendments.
- Raise Purchase request for commercial department and shop as needed
- Follow up on suppliers’ invoices payments with Accounting Team
- Assist in Capex preparation
- Support as needed with selection, onboarding and follow up of suppliers for Commercial team (including Front office, Sales, Marketing, Events, Sustainability, Shop)
- Assist in system configuration and setup as needed
Any other cognate duties as may be necessary in the circumstances and/or required by the employer.
Candidate’s Profile:
- Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Management or any other relevant discipline
- Have minimum 3 years working experience in similar capacity in hospitality industry
- Commercial awareness would be an advantage
- Be an advocate of Casela with all stakeholders
- Be customer-oriented as well as team-oriented
- Assist in finding solutions to problems that arise
- Work well in teams, with good interpersonal skills
- Pay attention to details
- Have a good level of written and spoken English and French
- Be computer literate and willing to learn new skills
- Be logical in all undertakings
- Be well organized, to respect deadlines and commitments
- Able to work individually as well as part of a team
- Able to work flexible hours and on week-ends if needed
