JOB SUMMARY :
We are looking for Security Agent to join MEDINE GROUP | Support Services (Security & Vigilance).
Monitor assigned area, looking for suspicious, unauthorised or illegal activity. Make sure that the premises of an organization is a safe and secure space for colleagues, clients, and staff. Proactively survey areas for possible dangers, in an effort to prevent crimes. Â
Duties & Responsibilities
Security Inspection
- Conduct frequent security checks. Remain vigilant for anything unusual or potentially threatening.
- Patrol Medine’s assigned areas as and when requested.
- Detect and prevent illegal entries on Medine’s assigned area(s) OR COMPOUND
- Maintain the organisation’s reputation by complying with legal requirement related to security.
- Perform crime prevention surveys and to ensure safety of employees and public.
- Recognise potentially dangerous situations and respond in the safest and most effective manner.
Emergency Management
- Immediately respond to emergencies to provide necessary.
- Call police, firefighters, ambulance in case of emergency such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
- Evict violators from premises using legal steps as necessary.
- Perform first aid whenever required.
- Call for backup if needed.Â
Reporting
- Prevent loss and damage by reporting irregularities to: either SECURITY SUPERVISOR OR SECURITY MANAGER.
- Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.
- Record in details any suspicious incidents or irregularities – such as equipment or property damage, theft and presence of unauthorized persons.
- Document inspection and accurately report incidents, observations, among others.Â
Security Recommendation and Awareness
- Warn students and employees of rule infractions or violations.
- Recommend preventive security actions.
- Employ crisis management techniques, working quickly and calmly in high stress situations.
Policies and Procedures
- Support the development of the occupational risk and resilience policies and programs.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
CANDIDATE’S PROFILE :
Qualifications Required:
- At least 2 years proven working experience in security environment is desirable.
- SC holder or any other equivalent.
- Training in First Aid and self-defence is desirable.
- Holder of a valid driving license.Â
