The Public Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation of all
areas ofthe hotel. The role involves cleaning, sanitizing all common areas to ensure a comfortable and pleasant
stay for guests. The Public Area Attendant must follow hotel standards and procedures, report any maintenance
issues, and ensure that all assigned areas are kept clean, organized, and well-stocked. The position requires
attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to providing excellent service to support a positive guest
experience
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean meeting rooms, lobbies and other common areas of the Hotel.
- Operate various mechanized cleaning equipment.
- Mopping, emptying trash of common area at the hotel
- Washing and drying the linens and keeping them available at all times.
- Washing windows.
- Clean wash basins, mirrors, commodes, tubs daily.
- Ensure that safety and security standards are maintained within own area of responsibility.
- Ensure that the highest standard of personal health and hygiene are maintained at all times.
CANDIDATE’S PROFILE :

Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as Cleaner.
Key competences (Knowledge, Skills, Attitudes, Behaviours):
- Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, and housekeeping equipment.
- Good attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Physically fit and able to perform tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards guests and colleagues.
- Ability to follow hotel policies, safety procedures, and instructions from supervisors.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
