We are looking for a Legal Assistant to join Medine group I Shared Services.
Job summary
The Legal Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth operation of legal activities
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide support in relation to Data Protection and Intellectual Property matters across the Group.
- Actively involved in the department’s AML/CFT duties and responsibilities.
- Drafting and vetting of a range of contracts and documents.
- Stay up to date with legislative amendments and circulating such amendments across the Group where relevant.
- Maintain the Group’s Litigation register and schedule all associated tasks and events.
- Communicate any relevant documents to external legal advisors.
- Manage the schedule of the Head of the department, and provide any administrative support to the latter.
- Ensure that all legal files are properly up-to-date and compiled with all relevant documents
Candidate’s Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Law,
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position.
- Knowledge of law sources.
- Excellent writing and oral skills in English and French Language.
- Critical thinking.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Good computer literacy.
- Result and service driven.
