We are looking for a Legal Assistant to join Medine group I Shared Services.

Job summary

The Legal Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth operation of legal activities

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide support in relation to Data Protection and Intellectual Property matters across the Group.
  • Actively involved in the department’s AML/CFT duties and responsibilities.
  • Drafting and vetting of a range of contracts and documents.
  • Stay up to date with legislative amendments and circulating such amendments across the Group where relevant.
  • Maintain the Group’s Litigation register and schedule all associated tasks and events.
  • Communicate any relevant documents to external legal advisors.
  • Manage the schedule of the Head of the department, and provide any administrative support to the latter.
  • Ensure that all legal files are properly up-to-date and compiled with all relevant documents

Candidate’s Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law,
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position.
  • Knowledge of law sources.
  • Excellent writing and oral skills in English and French Language.
  • Critical thinking.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Good computer literacy.
  • Result and service driven.
