We are looking for a Finance Specialist to join Medine group I Shared Services
Job summary
The Finance Specialist will implement, in collaboration with management, the company’s financial strategy and a sound treasury and tax processes. Help management to make financial decisions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Financial Management
- Monitor preparation of budgets and financial planning strategies.
- Monitor and control budget and cash flow, and predict future trends.
- Compute figures and prepare recurring account statements.
- Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment reporting and other tax requirements.
- Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of the businesses’ finance are maintained.
- Compute project feasibilities and ensure adequate follow up.
- Prepare consolidation figures and pack for the group.
Control
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and procedures. Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.
- Ensure team’s activities and reports follow accounting principles and adhere with company policies.
Analysis
- Analyse financial performance against key business metrics, which will enable management to determine progress against budget.
- Interpret financial info while recommending further course of actions.
- Prepare monthly presentation pack for Management.ers
Reporting and compliance
- Prepare reports as required by law, regulations and company policies.
- Produce financial statement, business activity reports, and overall financial position and forecast reports in an accurate and timely manner.
- Assist in the end of year closing and financial statement preparation.
- Establish the appropriate tax planning for all SPVs.
Policies and Procedure Development and Implementation
- Develop, monitor and measure effectiveness of accounting procedures.
- Implement procedural and policy changes to improve operational efficiency.
Minimum experience requirements
- A minimum 3 years working experience in a senior position in Finance.
Minimum education requirements
- ACCA fully qualified or a degree in finance or accounting

- Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Proficient users of PC, calculator, and other basic business machines.
