We are looking for an E-Commerce Lead to join Medine group I Shared Services

Job summary

The E-commerce Lead is responsible for strategizing, planning, and executing online sales initiatives to drive revenue growth and enhance customer engagement. This role will oversee digital marketing, website optimization, customer experience, and performance analytics to ensure alignment with business goals. The E-commerce Lead collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless online shopping experience and maximizes conversion rates.

Duties and Responsibilities

E-Commerce Strategies

  1. Develop and implement an e-commerce strategy aligned with business goals, including market research, product positioning, pricing, and promotions.
  2. Implement strategies to increase penetration rate of specific audiences and markets in the different business units
  3. Run and optimise paid advertising across different digital channels including Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other non-social platforms
  4. Drive online sales growth through effective pricing, promotions, and upselling strategies. Monitor KPIs, such as conversion rate, bounce rate, and customer acquisition cost.

Conversion Rate Optimisation

  1. Analyse customer journey and use automation to improve conversion rate.
  2. Implement A/B testing across different platforms including social media, website, and Google networks
  3. Oversee daily e-commerce operations, including product uploads, content management, and SEO optimizations to enhance customer engagement and drive conversions.

Analytics and Reporting

  1. Analyse web traffic and e-commerce performance metrics, providing actionable insights and regular reports to senior management.
  2. Analyse customer data to understand behaviour patterns, preferences, and purchasing habits. Use segmentation to tailor marketing efforts and enhance personalization strategies.
  3. Provide and implement recommendations to increase conversion rate, drive upselling, and improve customer experience across defined customer journey.

Team Collaboration

  1. Collaborate with the team to develop monthly editorial calendars with objective-driven content.
  2. Work closely with the group’s different Business Units and stakeholders to support business activities according to set KPIs and Goals.

Minimum education requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA is a plus).

Minimum experience requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA is a plus).
  2. 5+ years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably in Hospitality and Leisure industries
  3. Experience of using Ads Manager, Facebook Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, AgoraPulse, and other tools, would be an advantage.

Required skills

  1. Ability to use Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and software
  2. Outstanding written and verbal skills in both English and French
  3. Awareness of data protection policies and data implications.
  4. Demonstrated success in driving online revenue growth, customer experience improvement, and cross-functional team leadership.
