JOB SUMMARY :
We are looking for a Assistant Restaurant Manager to join MEDINE GROUP | Tamarina Golf & Spa Boutique Hotel
The Assistant Food and Beverage (F&B) Manager works closely with the F&B Manager to ensure that all restaurant, bar, and kitchen operations run smoothly. This role focuses on creating memorable experiences for guests and helping the team provide excellent service. The Assistant F&B Manager supports cost management, maintains quality standards, and promotes delicious food and drink offerings while ensuring compliance with HACCP guidelines for food safety.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operations – Help manage the restaurant, bar, and kitchen to ensure everything runs efficiently and meets high quality standards.
- Support Menu Development – Work with the F&B Manager to create exciting food and beverage menus that delight guests.
- Quality Control – Check that all food and drinks are of the best quality and presentation while adhering to HACCP guidelines.
- Training – Help train team members and keep them motivated to deliver outstanding service
- Manage Inventory – Track supplies and assist in ordering what’s needed to keep the restaurant, bar, and kitchen fully stocked.
- Engage with Guest – Interact with customers to gather their feedback and ensure they have a wonderful dining experience.
- Help Plan Events – Assist in organizing special food and beverage events that attract guests and enhance their overall experience.
- Support Financial Tasks – Help monitor costs and assist in budgeting to maintain profitability within the F&B department.
- Perform any cognate duties as may be required by supervisor and the management.
CANDIDATE’S PROFILE :
Qualifications Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management or a related field is a plus..
Experience Required:
- Previous experience in food and beverage service roles, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory capacity preferred.
Key competences (Knowledge, Skills, Attitudes, Behaviours):
- Good communication skills.
- Fluent in English and French.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and HACCP as well as standards of food and beverage
- Food handlers’ certificate
- Outgoing and pleasant personality.
- Good human contact.
