Uniciti: a new town is born
Since the beginning of its operations in 2007, Medine Group's Property department has been at the forefront of development on the west coast of Mauritius where it is responsible of Medine's land bank of 10,000 hectares. The Property department objectives and ambition hence lie on the sound and sustainable development of the group’s land assets. Through the solid expertise of a dynamic team of professionals, urban planners, architects, the Property department has pioneered a key number of projects including Tamarin IRS Golf Estate, Cascavelle Shopping Village, a multi-sports complex named SPARC, a student residences as well as an integrated and international Education hub. Our Property department has also been instrumental in a series of projects such as residential subdivisions, schools and other building projects.
Leveraging on the group’s 2005-2025 Master Plan, our Property department is growing exponentially and deploying its development, of which an integrated and sustainable city of 823 arpents strategically located on the west Coast of Mauritius, between Bambous, Cascavelle and Flic en Flac.
Under the impulse of the Property department, Uniciti, Medine Group’s smart city was officially launched in September 2017, promoting the concept of Live, Work, Enjoy & Learn, with therefore Education and Higher Education particularly at the core of its development
