Last Thursday, December 20, there was a magical atmosphere at the St. Matthew’s Centre of Bambous.

The Fondation Medine Horizons organized with the help of Caritas Bambous, a Christmas celebration based on the theme of ‘sharing’, along with 57 children from the association as well as employees of the Medine Group. This beautiful gathering came to life thanks to 57 employees of the Group who responded to the call of the Fondation Medine Horizons to sponsor these children. Each participating employee was given a godchild, to whom he offered a gift. Furthermore, over forty of these employees attended the Christmas event and handed off personally their gifts to their respective godchild, helping as well with the distribution of gifts to the other children attending the celebration. In addition to the exchange of gifts and to the refreshments and treats shared, the children who had prepared some songs and a dance, had the opportunity to each hang a Christmas ball personalized with their name to the Christmas tree.

Present on that occasion, Thierry Sauzier the CEO of the Medine Group, shared that: “I am extremely proud of the commitment shown by the employees of the Group to the various volunteering actions implemented by our Foundation. While our Group is greatly active in the region through the various initiatives for the community run by the Fondation Medine Horizons, it is extremely important that each of us give of ourselves through moments of sharing such as this one, and allow our employees to do the same.”
