This year’s FMSC Athletics competition came to an exciting end at Maryse Justin Stadium, Reduit, on Sunday 11th of November, with the Medine Group lifting the overall trophy and further taking the spoils in the female category as well.
A two-day programme (Nov. 8th and 11th) that captivated fans both on the pitch, as Medine’s athletes supported each other to deliver their best, and in the stands as employees, athletes’ parents and friends gave their voice, to the sound of the ravanne, to help Medine achieve higher.

This annual rendez-vous was a great opportunity for the Group’s athletic team to live something special and bonding. The team spirit that prevailed, coupled with the unwavering determination of all players, led to this success. The Men’s team made it to the second place in their category and it sets the stakes higher for the next meeting in 2019!
Three athletes from the Women’s team made it to greater success, being earmarked as best athletes in their category.
- Kirti Ramkishar (Assistant Nursery Officer – Medine Agriculture) | Best athlete in the D1 category
- Stéphanie Guillaume (Culture Development & Team Building Assistant – Talents) | Best athlete in the D2 category
- Guianella Marie-Louise (FMH Coordinator – Medine Corporate) | Best athlete in the D3 category
Special thanks to the coach who spared nothing to help the Medine Team gather momentum this year. All athletes had the opportunity to use the top-notch training facility of SPARC to develop their talents and improve their performance. See you all in the starting block in 2019!
